§ About · Colophon

25+ years. One philosophy.

I’ve spent my career across global enterprise stacks, distributed systems, and platform engineering. Today I build with AI every day — testing, breaking, and rebuilding the kinds of systems most people are still writing about.

By day, I work in cloud and infrastructure services for financial institutions. This site is where I share my own systems, experiments, and point of view.

A short bio for press & intros

Anil Gunjal is an AI builder and strategist with 25+ years in enterprise technology. He builds working AI systems — agent workflows, LLM orchestration, and decision-support tools — and writes about what actually holds up once these systems leave the demo.

§ 01 · Trajectory

A career that backed into agentic AI by building everything underneath it first.

1999 → 2010 Architect & engineer across global enterprise stacks. The era when most of the patterns we now take for granted were still being argued over.
2010 → 2018 Distributed systems, internal platforms, and data infrastructure for organizations measured in tens of thousands of seats.
2018 → 2023 Platform engineering and managed services — the unglamorous work of making systems someone else can operate.
2024 → now Full-time builder. Agentic AI, MCP, multi-agent workflows. Six working systems in use today.
§ 02 · Speaking

Topics I’ll talk about on a stage.

Available for keynotes, panels, and private executive sessions. I don’t do generic AI talks — every topic below is grounded in something I’m currently building.

[01]

Building agentic systems for the enterprise

What survives a security review, an audit, and the eventual incident retrospective. Capability isn’t the gap — fit is.

[02]

MCP & the new wiring of AI

Why MCP is doing for agents what USB did for hardware, and what it means for managed services and integration vendors.

[03]

Multi-agent intelligence at scale

Lessons from running multi-agent intelligence pipelines that watch entire industries continuously and turn signal into brief.

[04]

Building with AI as a daily practice

How a 25-year enterprise career meets Claude Code. Less “AI strategy,” more “ship one ugly thing this week.”
